Tangerine Dream produces some of the most original work I've ever heard. It is referred to as experimental electronic. All their music is stirring and complex. Drama is a central feature of just about everything they do.
For those who want something a little less light we offer Tangerine Dream, it is like a blending of rock sounds, movie soundtracks and a little New Age thrown in. When Alan and I program breathwork music we almost always use some Tangerine Dream music to deepen the journey and excite the soul.
This album has momentum and drive. The music stirs the body and the psyche. We call this kind of music journey music or shake up music. If you lie down and breath the music in gently, it will take you places. If you're holding down a lot of emotional stuff it will tend to bring it up if you recline and allow by gently breathing. Deep breathing to this music should only be done with an experienced guide present as it can be very activating.

This music is activating and will tend to bring up physicalized tensions and blocked energy. It grinds at you and that serves a purpose when you want to go deeper into feelings of loss of control in order to explore and release. There is both a driving and kind of chaotic quality to this album. I could see where under the right conditions, it might make me want to scream. This is not easy listening music.
I love cut two, it is powerful and exciting. It makes things loosen up and move, that goes for body parts, emotions, and the heart. Complex, textured and evocative would describe this music. It is stimulating and there is a grandeur that the personality enjoys. This has a thrilling quality that excites the ego in a nice way. This would be nice to close your eyes and journey with.

Compelling and exciting is how I would describe this album. I have used this music most extensively of all my Tangerine Dream stuff. It brings out a wildness and chaos. It would be great for releasing anger, one could pound a pillow, or lie on a cushioned surface and pound while allowing the music to drive the process.
Cut three is one of my all time favorite cuts because it's like taking a journey into a dark and scary place, yet you feel strengthened by the music. Cut three is fifteen minutes long and it carries you.
