This is an interesting and thought provoking two-tape set. Caroline Myss has been one of the most celebrated rising figures in the human potential field today. She is a medical intuitive, who has proven herself to be highly accurate at this new field. She has worked effectively with doctors who depended on her to help when they felt limitations in helping their patients.

She offers her unique perspective on healing. Myss maintains that people had no model for intimacy or intimate communication until recently. That changed with the introduction of psychology and the therapeutic model. She feels people consciously or unconsciously trade on their wounds, the payoff being feelings of intimacy in wound sharing. She also maintains that the consideration of others for our wounds is a powerful reinforce. What can happen is identification with the wound and a subsequent unwillingness to give that up.

I think Myss is a little judgmental about this subject. I'm sure there are people like that, but these aren't the people I'm working with. Perhaps half a dozen people have mentioned that they are impressed with the bulk of the information, but feel she seems a little out of touch and judgmental. Take what feeds you and leave the rest.
