In my own relationship with Alan we kept coming up against novel situations that would cause us to grow and expand. These weren't tracking with typical couple's stuff. Much of couple's stuff is about power issues. We didn't want to butt up against each other for a decade or two, especially since we're both Taurus! We foundered around and eventually found our way.
