The work of Enya is some of the prettiest, most pogniant and emotionally evocative I've ever heard. Much of the music discussed on this site has a sort of "signature quality" there is a certain uniformity to the music. Enya's music offers texture and excitement for the listener. Different cuts evoke different emotions and that feels expansive and full. Her voice has a bell like clarity that sometimes transports me to a heavenly realm. I can feel my soul unfurl and thrill to her voice.
This music would be useful for men who wish to integrate their feminine side. It would be great for women who wish to "call out" the the goddess within. The music has a romantic quality for those who are wishing to create a romantic enviornment with candles and music. It is also widely used for massage and relaxation. If you are wanting to open to beauty and femininity or that pulling feeling of spirit you won't be disappointed with Enya.
